When Adam, Bree, and Chase get bored with their abilities, they decide to switch bionic chips for the day. Meanwhile Leo and Principal Perry suddenly get stuck in an elevator.
Story
At school, Principal Perry catches Leo on the elevator, then announces that there will be drills all week long. Adam, Bree and Chase then start to talk about how they would trade their abilities with one another. They defy a warning from Davenport and swap bionic chips. Now Adam has Bree's super speed, Bree has Chase's super smarts, and Chase has Adam's strength. Principal Perry rings the fire alarm and starts forcing people to evacuate the building. Bree, with Chase's abilities, screams because of her super hearing while Principal Perry catches Leo taking the elevator again, walking inside and having the elevator door close as they start to go up. Then Chase uses Heat Vision for the first time to stop the bell but it bounces off the bell and into the elevator, trapping Leo and Principal Perry. Then Chase realizes he can't fix it without his chip so the Lab Rats go home to get their chips back but when they get to school they realize that their chips are switched again. Adam with Chase's super brain, Bree with Adam's abilities, and Chase with Bree's speed so they had Bree grab the last rope that was holding the elevator and they save Leo and Principal Perry. When they get home, Davenport asks them how the Chip Switch went, showing that he found out about it. Adam, Bree and Chase say they learned their lesson about switching their abilities.
The robotic hand that Chase picked up from the lab (the one that Donald said he invented) is the same hand that rose from the debris in Bionic Showdown.
Adam thinks he's less stupid without his super strength.
This episode reveals that Principal Perry's full name is 'Terry Cherry Perry'.
It is revealed that at Leo's old school, he was called Leo Doody.
This is the first and only episode where the bionic siblings switched their chips.
Goofs
Adam, Bree, and Chase need Leo to push a button to switch their chips, but when they switch them later on, there's no Leo to push the button, yet the switch is successful.
