"Night of the Living Virus" is the 17th episode in Season 1 of Lab Rats. It first aired on October 15, 2012. It features the first and only appearance of Teddy and the last appearance of Stephanie.
Plot[]
Leo desperately wants to be Davenport's lab assistant, but he keeps annoying him while he's working. So Davenport gives him the job of watching a download for six hours. Leo takes down the firewall to speed up the download, but he accidentally corrupts the smart-home system, turning Eddy into an evil demonic virus named Teddy. Meanwhile, Bree holds a sleepover with her friends, unaware that they only wanted to come because of the house she lives in, while Adam and Chase try to pull pranks on the girls.

- Leo's shirt is a reference of the video game Star Fox.
- This is the first and only appearance of Teddy.
- This is the last appearance of Stephanie.
- Due to the episode airing out of production order, Chase's hair is long and down again, rather than short and spiked up as first seen in Exoskeleton vs. Grandma.
- In Lab Rats marathons and in digital releases in France, this episode airs between Commando App and Leo's Jam because that’s where this episode belongs in production order.
- This episode was held over to be the 17th episode of the season instead of the 4th due to being intended for the Halloween season.
Goofs[]
- Chase could have and should have used his force field to protect himself from the lasers while Adam uses his heat vision from behind Chase.
- It was said that Stephanie only went to Bree's sleepover because of the Davenports' house. However, when she first arrived, it was seen that she was checking out the house for the first time.
- Although this could be just because she heard about the house before.
- When Tasha goes to tell her scary story she walks down the stairs and behind the couch to sit down when she does tell the story the camera is in front of the whole couch yet she looks surprised when Adam and Chase jump up from behind the couch after Bree says they were the ones opening the door.

- The episode's title is a parody of the 1968 film, Night of the Living Dead.
- A reference to the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope was made when Donald called Leo a "Tiny Darth Vader."
- A reference to the 1979 film Alien was made when Chase makes as if an arm pops out of his stomach.
